The Teahouse belongs to the Daisho House; A lesbian couple who only recently surfaced the streets of Kugane after buying some property in Shirogane. The Black Lotus Agency

The Black Lotus, on the surface, is one of Kugane’s socially entwined Teahouses. At the same time, it’s a private agency that counters Sekiseigumi's legal ways to conduct certain exterminations under the table against voidsent, yokai, and other occult-related cases. The Black Lotus is one of Kugane’s syndicate link points for under the table work (i.e. infiltration, investigation, delivery, bounty, tracking, information, illicit services, etc). Grill & Hotpot Shabu-Shabu

Patrons are led through the hibachi (table grill) experience by a teamaster, who pours drinks, arranges the table, assists cooking the food as necessary, and entertains company. A common example of hibachi fixings are as follows and are typically served with steamed rice and/or noodles.

The table is set with traditional nabe (hotpot) dishes and the patron is invited to select their own ingredients for stewing. Our teamasters lead the experience by pouring drinks, arranging the table, and teaching patrons how to cook their chosen ingredients in the provided broth.

The Black Lotus Teahouse is a once a month venue. We're open on the first Sunday of every month and open from 7pm (CST) to 10pm (CST). If you live on the east coast, when hours start to slow down, I allow the staff members to leave as early as 9pm (EST) so they can get enough sleep going into the weekday. Black Lotus Tea Master| 500,000g
You'll be an active host/hostess who caters to clients seeking drinks and attentive conversation. Your goal is to hold conversation, entertain your client's with your tea brewing skills, enjoy a few games, and holding a friendly retention. There should be no reason for a tea master to leave their work station or leaving their clients unattended. That is why you will be utilizing the Prep Team (Namazu) to your advantage.Black Lotus Bartender| 400,000g
You’ll be responsible for maintaining the bar and serving alcoholic beverages and mixes to the Casino Guests. You’ll also be responsible for the special menu for cigars, cigar tools (lighters, ash trays, pipes, etc) and narcotic supplements.Black Lotus Host/Hostess| 300,000g - 400,000g
You’ll be responsible for greeting people in and guiding them to a seat at a tea Master’s Station. Each Tea Master station can hold up to six people, and should be treated like a hibachi grill eatery.Black Lotus Prep-chef| 300,000g
You’ll be responsible for prepping the ingredients for all the dishes to be served to the table grills. You’re also on call duty for fire’s needing reheating, and can deliver tea master’s tea sets between: clay, porcelain, ceramic, glass, or even steel. You will have the official Black Lotus' prep team of Namazus (NPCs) at your command and at your disposal for bussing tables and making necessary runs throughout the venue.Black Lotus Security| 300,000g
You’ll be responsible for monitoring the venue. Each security will be specifically assigned to an area of the venue. Accommodate to guests and staff members who are in distress. As long as you're asserting the venue's (in-character) rules, you're allowed to make conversation as long as you stay sharp and mindful of guests.

These are in-character Rules
Please wait to be escorted and seated by a Hostee to an available Tea Master. You can book reservations in advance to be served by a specific Tea Master. Your spot/party will be available upon arrival if the tea master is working that night.Terrorizing or being abundantly rude to our guests, in any way, in our establishment will not be tolerated. Examples bullying, harassing, stalking, prejudice, etc. will get you escorted out and possibly banned from the Black Lotus.Weapons are required to be sheathed, holstered, etc. during your entire visit at the Black Lotus. Acts of aggression in the teahouse will get you removed from the Black Lotus.Fighting is not allowed at the Black Lotus.
This is a not a fight club. Any fights, verbally and physically are to be taken out of the teahouse or you can brawl it out at the "Tipping Scales". If a fight escalates to the point that our security has to get involved, you will get removed/escorted from our establishment.No smoking in the Tea house.
There are special areas where visitors are allowed to privately smoke or enjoy their supplements during their visit; the smoke lounge or outside of the Black Lotus’ entrance. A Tea Master's private booth depends on the tea master’s preference, and would require their explicit permission. If you are smoking outside, we ask you to be at a good distance away from the guests arriving.This is not a brothel, so do not treat it like one.
It's our Tea Masters job to serve companionship and entertainment for our guests. However, those services are strictly limited to a suitable for work environment and none of our tea masters should be disrespected in any way possible in our establishment. What our Tea Master's do off the clock has nothing to do with the Black Lotus.No shirt, No shoes, No service!
Dress like civilized beings and appropriate for the public eye. No one wants to see your chest hair and smell your musty toes while eating.
Peets are an exception if properly groomed and trimmed. We adore our walking toe-bean guests.
